Why won't Republicans get involved, instead of trying to block health care reform?

Every day presents new opportunities to reuse, repurpose and create, and it’s the frugal person who recognizes those opportunities, seizes them and turns them into savings

i see no problem with the Republicans blocking the POS legislation coming from the left. there is no sense in getting involved when the plan suggested sucks on toast. you can polish a turd but it is still a turd.

conservative politicians need to hold fast and keep pushing ideas that will work (allow plans over state lines, tort reform, etc.)

REALLY? How many Republican amendments have been discounted without even a consideration because they affect Dems political interests. I would say they have pretty good cause to be against this process. It has been railroaded by the Dems. If it was such a great plan, it wouldn't matter what the Republicans do. The Dems would have the votes and pass it without them.

Yeah.

We're all just screaming our heads off because our husbands aren't home to yell at.

Since the Republicans are in the minority, the speaker will not allow their plans to go to the floor. If you watch the Senate and Congressional hearings and debates on CSPAN you would realize they have some much simpler plans to fix health care that do not involve a government take over. The Democrats won't permit anything except a government take over. Therefore, the Republicans are called the party of no instead of the party of common sense. They reject the Republicans amendments to the bills. You need to see it for yourself. If you don't bother going to the heart of it to find the truth, you are going to be deceived.

It seems Democrats are stuck in a one-way road that only involves the government controling your life and 1/6 of the economy. This has very far reaching effects on the future of this country that I don't believe will be in our best interest.
